School Laboratories
The gift of science has added greatly to the dignity and sublimity of human civilization and science is often acclaimed as an angel of creative ideas. It is to hone these creative ideas that JK Public School, Kunjwani has excellent laboratories of Physics, Chemistry and Biology and it is here that students learn to bring their experiments out of these labs to their daily lives.
Physics Laboratory
It is an ultra modern laboratory fully equipped with latest apparatus to provide the much needed facilities to the students. The laboratory caters to the requirement of students from Classes II-XII with 50 students at a time. It also includes a dark room for experiments on light.
Chemistry Laboratory
The Chemistry laboratory in JK Public School, Kunjwani is well equipped with all modern apparatus and chemicals required upto Class XII. With a seating capacity of about 50 students in this well ventilated hall, students are guided by- qualified teachers and laboratory assistants to complete their projects and experiments.
Biology Laboratory
The spacious, well ventilated Biology laboratory caters to the requirement of senior students. Keeping the latest syllabus in mind the models, specimens, charts, chemicals etc have been well planned.
Mathematics Laboratory
In order to encourage the mathematical abilities, to enhance analytical and critical thinking of the students and to develop problem solving attitude amongst the students, a mathematics lab has been setup as per the CBSE guidelines.
Language Lab (OS Laboratory)
In addition to being the medium of instruction for dissemination of knowledge, English language has acquired great importance as a sure key to enter the lucrative global market. Young JKiians are privileged to be guided in all aspects of phonetic development from the very beginning.

Learning through self study and reading are important skills that ensure developing habits of sustained learning, which is an indispensable tool for the future for our students. For this, four well equipped and well stocked libraries with different types of books, magazines, periodicals, newspapers and other reading material are available which cater to all tastes and the needs of students from nursery to Class 12th.
Kids Activity Room
Activity room is a place where the joy of learning is not taught but experienced. Every student is unique in his/her own way. JK Public School has separate well equipped spacious activity rooms for pre-primary, primary and senior sections which can accommodate 80 students each at a time.
Art & Craft Room
The school has very beautiful, colourful and spacious separate art and craft rooms for juniors and seniors where students learn drawing, painting and sketching.
Music and Dance

School Transport

Transport facility for picking and dropping the students nearest to their homes on specified routes is available. The students in the buses are accompanied by teachers and attendants to ensure their safety. The transport in JK Public School is rated high on attributes like amenities, comfort, convenient routes, experienced staff and reasonable fares. Each bus is well equipped with water campers, medical kits and fire extinguishers. One phone on each route has been provided to every route in-charge for the convenience of the parents.
SCHOOL BUS RULES
- ♦ Transport facilities are provided for the convenience of the students, although it is not an obligatory service of the school.
- ♦ Applications for school transport, transport cancellation, changes of bus stops, change of bus route etc should be submitted to the school Transport Incharge one month in advance.
- ♦ Buses will be available only on the routes and at stops fixed by the school and any request for new stops will not be entertained. However, the school reserves the right to make any changes if found inevitable.
- ♦ Students travelling by the school bus should always be in proper school uniform and in possession of the school ID card with proper bus number failing which they will not be allowed to board the bus
- ♦ Student must report at the scheduled stop 5 minutes before the bus arrival time
- ♦ Students must travel only by the bus allocated to them
- ♦ No students will be allowed to board a bus other than the one allotted unless he/she has written permission from the school authorities
- ♦ If a student wants to get down at a different bus stop, he/she should submit a request signed by the parents to the Principal/Transport Office and obtain special permission for the same
- ♦ The bus facility will be cancelled for those students who damage any bus fittings or indulge in acts of misbehavior/ indiscipline in the bus
- ♦ In case of misbehavior in the bus the teacher/driver is authorized to take immediate necessary steps and report the matter to the Principal/Transport Incharge for further action, if necessary. Such a student will be taken off the bus.
- ♦ Eating, drinking or playing any game in the bus is strictly forbidden
- ♦ The school buses are fitted with governors .There is a fully equipped first aid box in every bus. As you are aware the school will take every precaution for the safety of the children; however, the school is not responsible for situations beyond their control.
- ♦ Whenever there is an after school bus route, the buses will cover only a few common stops on the main roads in that area. The regular route will not ply on such occasions
- ♦ Parents are requested to forward all requests regarding transport to the Transport Incharge . All requests may not be feasible
- ♦ Please note that the Transport Incharge is handling over 2000 students and is not always available to speak to parents. Please ensure you call only in case of any emergency
- ♦ Parents of children from classes Nur to V should come/send a responsible person to receive their ward from the bus stop failing which the child will be brought back to the school
- ♦ Please ensure that under no circumstances, any parent boards the bus to discuss any concern .In case any issue is to be discussed, please meet with the school authorities.
School Infrastructure
Multipurpose Auditorium
The school has an air-conditioned auditorium which can seat 1000 persons. It is well equipped with audio/visual facility which caters to all kinds of activities associated with the school. The children are given ample opportunities to perform on stage and gain confidence. Various programmes are conducted here to expose the children to our rich cultural heritage. Auditorium is a unique facility in the school which very few schools have.
Air-Conditioned Dining Hall
The dining area is vast and spacious, adequate to meet the requirement of the day boarding school. It is manned by a well qualified full time dietician. The kitchen is most hygienic and equipped with all modern amenities. The kitchen and dining hall provide a well-balanced, wholesome vegetarian diet which includes dairy products, vegetables and pulses. Breakfast including milk and lunch are served to the children. The personal hygiene of the staff serving food is ensured.
Medical Room
The school has a well equipped medical room with paramedics on duty. Health records are maintained for each and every student. Annual check ups by visiting dentists, eye specialist and ENT specialist are a part of the medical calendar.
