Annual Day - Day 01

JK Public School, Kunjwani hosted its grand Annual Day on the theme ‘Carnival Of Cultures’ with boundless zeal and majestic grandeur at its prestigious Nelsum Millenium Hall, on 16 November.

The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest Mr Vikram Randhawa, Member of Legislative Assembly, Jammu and Kashmir along with his wife Ms Neetu Randhawa. 

The Guest of Honour Mr Pankaj Malhotra, RTO Jammu, whose arrival met with heartfelt applause. They were welcomed with an elegant bouquet presentation - a symbol of the school’s respect and admiration.

The dignitaries present on the occasion were Patron JK Educational Society, Mr Davinder Daluja and Ms Neelam Daluja, Chairman, Mr Raj Daluja, Member of Management Mr Gautam Daluja, Director, Ms Shashi Chaudhary; Principal JKPS Kunjwani, Mr Rajesh Rathore; Principal JK Public School Panjtirthi Ms Suman Banbah; Vice Principal Ms Roopinder Kaur; School Coordinator Ms Inderjeet Kaur, Academic Coordinator Ms Parvinder Kaur, Coordinator Primary wing Ms. Anju Raj & Coordinator Toddlers' World Ms. Shivangani Pandotra with many other distinguished guests and esteemed parents.

The day commenced with the auspicious lighting of the ceremonial lamp embodying the spirit of knowledge and enlightenment. This was followed by a soul-stirring performance by the school orchestra, whose melodic rendition captivated the audience, setting the stage for the day with cultural brilliance.

The Principal Mr Rajesh Rathore welcomed all the distinguished guests and parents. He also shared the school’s Annual Report, through a PowerPoint Presentation ‘Reflections’ chronicling the remarkable achievements, accolades and milestones in academics, sports and in the field of extra Co-curriculum activities.

The cultural presentations began with an evocative rendition of the "Shiv Stotram" by JKiians which resonated the environment with spirituality and grace. This was followed by "Unity in Diversity" a vibrant performance by the students that celebrated India’s diverse cultural heritage, inspiring pride and harmony among the audience. In a row of cultural programme, a stirring patriotic tribute to "Ashok Chakra" was presented, a performance that honoured the nation's spirit of unity and patriotism followed by the enthralling “Dhol Dynamites” which infused the hall with energy and rhythm.

The day also recognized academic brilliance and dedication through the highly anticipated prize distribution ceremonies. In Round-1, students from Classes V to IX were lauded for their excellence, while Round-2 honoured the exemplary achievements of Class X students in Board exams celebrating their academic prowess, flawless attendance, National-level participation and sports accomplishments. The sports coaches, who played an instrumental role in mentoring these students in sports were also recognized for their invaluable contributions .
 
Among the cultural highlights was “Sanskaar- True Values” a dance-play that emphasized the importance of ethics and character in today’s world. The grand finale "Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat" was a patriotic spectacle that highlighted India’s unity, strength and diversity leaving the audience inspired and moved.

The event concluded with the felicitation of the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour by the Management followed by the motivational address by the Chief Guest that heightened the significance of a holistic education system that nurtures both intellect and character. Principal JK Public School, Panjtirthi Ms Suman Banbah was also felicitated for her selfless contribution and meritorious services in the field of education.

The program concluded with a warm vote of thanks presented by the Head Boy of the school Parth Bamba, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the event’s success. The Day-1 programme ended on a resonant note with the National Anthem.
