School Admissions

Students seeking admission to JK Public School will be registered in the month of January. Admission test and interviews will be conducted for the same. Admission will be granted purely on merit depending on the number of seats available. Special concessional admission is undertaken for Toddlers during Navratras. The minimum age of admission for Pre-Nursery, Nursery, L.K.G and U.K.G is 2+, 3+, 4+ and 5+ respectively.


Documents Required at the Time of Admission

The following documents are required as a part of the admission procedure for every student applying for admission:

Birth Certificate
A photocopy of birth certificate duly attested by a gazetted officer must be brought to the school at the time of admission to class Pre-Nursery to Ist.

Transfer Certificate
A valid Transfer Certificate from the school last attended, duly counter signed by the education authority, is essential requirement and must be submitted within thirty days from the day the child joins the school. In addition, the student is required to present the last report card indicating promotion to the next class. A copy of Aadhaar card of the child and his/her parent is also required. Until the Transfer Certificate and other documents are received by JK Public School, Kunjwani, the student admission is considered as provisional.

Photographs
Two recent passport size photographs are required to be submitted by each new student.

Migration Certificate
This is required for admission to Class X to XII in the case of students from Boards other than the CBSE.

WITHDRAWAL PROCESS

Parents are requested to give as long a notice as possible of intended withdrawal. For transfer certificate a written application on a prescribed form available in the school office, must be submitted to the Principal at least one month in advance. Every student is to pay fee for the month in which he/she withdraws.
